About JointWWW
Two disciplines. One working practice.
JointWWW is how a UI/UX designer and a WordPress developer work together on the same projects, while keeping each person's contribution visible.
Shared vision
Design and engineering, reinforcing each other
Interface design decides how a website reads and how a user moves through it. WordPress engineering decides how that experience is built, maintained, and extended. When the two are planned together, fewer decisions are lost between handoffs.
On a shared project, our individual roles stay distinct. The designer owns research, user journeys, and interface decisions; the developer owns architecture, integrations, migrations, and automation. We keep that split explicit so every piece of work has a clear author.
Shared principles
Build for maintainability, performance, and clear user experience.
Direct communication with the people making the work, and no middle-management layer between a decision and its implementation.
How we work
From discovery to implementation
01
Discovery
We clarify goals, audiences, and the user journeys the site must support.
02
Interface design
The designer shapes layouts, flows, and interface details, reviewed together before build.
03
WordPress implementation
The developer builds the theme, content structure, and integrations on a maintainable codebase.
